Ken and Pauline love living in London and have two wonderful children. They count it a privilege to pastor NHCC with the uniquely vibrant and diverse atmosphere the community brings. Growing up in East London, Ken made a decision in his teens to give his life to Jesus brining other members of his family to Christ, including his own parents. After graduating from Mattersey Hall the family moved to Glasgow returning to London some years later, where Ken completed his MA at Sheffield University.
Danny and Rebekah felt called to West London in 2015. They love NHCC and the community it belongs to. They have been married for 7 years and have two young children, Judah and Thaddeus. Danny made a decsion to let Jesus lead him in his late teens, after being what he calls, a 'church atheist'. Previously they pioneered and lead Baseline, a youth initiative in South East London. They have lead a Church plant and have worked in various management levels in the charitable sector.
At NHCC, we are all about Jesus — the only way to get to know Jesus is to understand what the Bible says about Him, which also includes what He said about Himself.
We believe in the authenticity and inspiration of the Bible as the primary basis of our faith.
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inspired word of God and the final authority for faith and life.
We believe that the Holy Sprirt is a person and part of the Triune Godhead. Through Him believers are empowered to accomplish the purposes of God and are enabled to act on the words of Jesus.
He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptising all believers into the body of Christ.
Life is often hard as we sin and experience the effects of sin, but through Jesus, God redeems our stories and creates a new story of hope, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Though life is not always perfect and without pain, the Bible promises that Jesus loves us, has good plans for us, and brings healing to us, even in the hardest of circumstances.
We believe Jesus give us a new story to tell. A story of His work changing us. These stories are testaments to the truth that Jesus is the Saviour of this world and of our lives.
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Matthew 5 : 14-16
But God has so composed the body, that there may be no division but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one person suffers, all suffer together; if one person is honored, all rejoice together.
1 Corinthians 12 : 24-26
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Matthew 22 : 36-40
